I'm an adventurous foodie and have been to over 20 countries seeking out awesome and weird cuisine, and this place has been the most memorable. Absolutely fantastic menu with knowledgeable and talented staff. The place was clean and the Google is filled with good reviews, so any doubts I had about eating these crazy and rare foods were removed with the safe environment. The badger was my favorite! It is off the beaten path a bit to find, but if you are a foodie living on the edge do not miss this place!

Amazing food! If you're brave enough. Large menu you'll need to visit many times before you run out of new things to try. Great taste! Awesome service! 100% will go again.

Great experience, great game meats, fun atmosphere! Highly recommend the pheasant if in stock. Meats include a variety of exotic and even questionable choices ranging from; deer, boar, kangaroo, ostrich, bear, horse, and much more. If you’re really feeling adventurous, try one of the insect items on the menu, or a liquor brewed with one of a variety of slithering or crawling creatures in the jar. Minus 1 star because staff have sometimes historically been inhospitable and claimed to be full and/or turned away non Japanese customers. If you can speak Japanese, calling in advance to make a reservation will prevent this potential issue.

The food here was so delicious and the staff made the experience 1000% better! I’m a study abroad student and the staff made me feel at home by the way they interacted with me. They also educated me on everything I had here and they are very knowledgeable of their menu items! I would definitely recommend this place

As other reviews suggest, Come here for the experience, especially if you’ve never had game meat or weird animal or insects. Not sure how sustainable their sourcing is but for giggles and wows its good The staff are nice and the food is actually good. Crocodile, whale, insects, snake sake, ostrich, etc The price is expensive though, so please be ready to shell out 3000 - 5000 yen per person

Came here with a group of friends very friendly staff and knew good English and was very welcoming. Definitely a great place to experience food you would never see in America I will difinantly go again to try more!
